Tristar Modern Classics aims to replicate as far as possible the experience of buying a ‘new’ modern classic Mercedes car. To give our customers full confidence in our cars, all pre-inspections, repairs and MOTs are carried out by experienced technicians at main dealer Mercedes-Benz Worcester.
We specialise in the W124 (E-Class) and W201 (190). We are centrally located in the UK, occupying a brand new unit near to historic Stratford-upon-Avon, just over an hour-and-a-half from London by road or rail, and half-an-hour from Birmingham.
Our stock comes mainly from the 1980s and 1990s, during which decades Mercedes-Benz cars were typically over-engineered. Well-maintained examples have a longevity that belies their years, shrugging off mileages of over 100,000 and often being good for well in excess of 250,000 miles. If cared for, they suffer little or no further depreciation (in some cases they actually increase in value as they become rarer and more desirable).
They benefit from reduced road fund tax compared to modern high-powered cars and may also be covered under classic car insurance if mileage is limited, making them ideal for high quality, depreciation-free everyday motoring or as dependable weekend classics. In addition, parts availability is absolutely no problem, with both manufacturer and many specialist suppliers still supplying parts.
Servicing and maintenance is also easy with many specialists up and down the country as well as a national network of Mercedes-Benz dealerships to undertake work on your vehicle. Most MB dealers offer significantly discounted labour rates (typically 30-40%) on all Mercedes-Benz cars over 7 years old.
We take great pride in the quality of the cars which we sell and will only ever offer those which are amongst the very best of their genre. All our cars have service history and are inspected by experienced engineers at our local main dealer, Mercedes-Benz of Worcester.
